Yeah, I'm still active here, though the wiki isn't nearly as active as when you gave it a makeover (I still love it, BTW). I've been trying to promote it lately, and my brother (Weasel23 aka Ozone) has offered to help out.
You certainly may run the Brickfilm of the Month section. It has been vacant since September of last year. As for becomign a battle writer, you'll need to prove yourself by writing a test battle on your user blog. But for now, I can't let you be one because three battle writers is the max. Too many cooks spoil the broth, you know. But yes, the Brickfilm of the Month section is all yours.
I am Akamichi, the original founder of the LEGO Battle Wiki and it seems that you must be the one whom adopted this wiki which I can see is not doing so bad in it's posts and your guy's so called seasons. It has been over roughly 3 years since I last edited here and have decided to make my return. I see I have my powers still, so that's good. I'm not removing any user's positions like you and Commandosaur's positions. But, I will be happy to meet both of you. ^_^
Thanks! I updated the front page/home page a bit if you didn't mind. I was just seeing what I should do to make the wiki a bit more interesting! But anyways, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I will try to make daily edits, don't expect me to though. But if you need anything, message me mostly on Wikianswers or Community Central, I'm most active there/in chat at Community Central.
Sorry for my late reply to this, I didn't notice it.
I disagree with adding more points, but I understand where you're coming from. My reasoning is that the more battles there are, the more likely it is that the minifigures will have different amounts of points. Look at any major sports league: As the season goes on, teams become more and more divided in the standings. The same will happen here.
However, there will be more ties with this format due to the removal of per-fighter win points and the insertion of per-fight win points. I believe it's a change that needs to be made. Example:
In the first half, 4-fighter battles were not as common. Invizable won 3 battles, defeating a total of 7 fighters for a 7-0 record. In the second half, Mace Windu won the same number of battles but defeated a total of 10 fighters because there was a higher fighter-to-battle ratio. Both fighters were equal in their wins but Mace Windu had an unfair opportunistic advantage which resulted in him winning more points.
Do you still agree, or do you have any other suggestions? Once again, my apologies for the late reply.
Now, on a different topic, I was wondering if I could reformat the fighter's pages a bit. I want to change the "Wins/Losses" sections to say the names of the battles instead of the names of the fighters defeated. Thanks for reading, as always!
Hey! So...I've noticed that at the moment, there will be NINE different 1-battle winners in the second half, and only one 2-battle winner. A nine-way battle would be kind of insane, so perhaps mutliple smaller battles? Also, how much longer will the second half last?
As well, if Terry remains the only 2-battle winner, then will he get a free pass to the third round? I sure hope that he's joined in this exclusive club, but who knows.
Anyways, you had probably already thought of everything I said above, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. That's all for now...
The battles are incredible, and always have been! Thank you again for granting me a position as a Battle Writer! However, I was wondering, could I start a new section called "Café Clips", which would be a series of pages with minifigures eating and talking in the pyramid's cafeteria in between battles. It would, of course, have humour. And it could also add character development, and create rivalries so that the battles would be even more awesome! Plus, they could come out all the time so that no one is ever bored in between battles. How does it sound?
